Osho's House has been established since 1995. The Healing Centre is one of the longest operating in the Byron Bay region and has become a household name. Our mission is to care for the wellbeing of our clients by providing a wide range of natural therapies. We have a holistic approach to wellbeing in treating the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies.

Swedish / Relaxation Massage

This is a full body gentle massage using oils with long gliding, kneading, and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of muscles. Promotes general relaxation, relieves muscular tension, improves circulation and range of motion of joints.
Session times: ½ hour, 1 hour, 1½ hour

Remedial / Deep Tissue Massage

This is a full body massage using oils working deeper into the muscle tissue of the body. It helps to relax the mind, to relieve body tension and improve general wellbeing. Deep Tissue massage is used to release chronic patterns of muscular tension using slow strokes, direct pressure, or friction directed across the grain of the muscles with the fingers, thumbs, or elbows.

Session times: ½ hour, 1 hour, 1½ hour

Acupressure / Shiatsu Massage

This is a form of therapy where thumb and finger pressure is applied to points along the meridians or channels for smooth functioning of the internal organs and release of muscular and energy blocks.

Reiki / Energy Healing

This is a form of healing where the initiated practitioner places hands on or near the client’s body. Universal energy is channelled by the practitioner and transferred to the client who absorbs this energy where it is needed. This treatment gives renewed energy and promotes healing.

Reflexology

Reflexology is an ancient art of massaging the feet, practised as early as 2,330 B.C. in Ancient Egypt. Through stimulating the nerve endings of the feet. Reflexology is an effective tool to release tensions throughout the body, overcoming nervous stress and improving blood circulation.

Far-Infrared Sauna

The Far-infrared Sauna (FS) is a therapeutic detoxifying, relaxing, and safe experience. Unlike traditional saunas, the FS emits infrared light that evenly penetrates the deeper tissues of your body, generating a more profuse sweat and thorough detox. The air temperature in the room remains much lower than in a traditional sauna.

Listen to your favourite relaxation soundtrack on the built-in CD player. Choose a colour and bathe in the built-in light therapy.

Bio Resonance System

The Bio Resonance System (BRS) is a relaxing, full spectrum experience of light, sound, and magnetic pulsations that induces optimal health. Your body and mind synchronise to the treatment of your choice.

Lie down comfortably on our BRS equipped massage table and recharge your life batteries as you become totally immersed in the magnetic pulses, light and sound, pure bliss.
